Read and merge raster tiles.
Raster tiles can potentially be in different CRS. Based on a tile index file as generated with gdaltindex. A bbox or geom describing the output area of interest is required.
- Parameters:
tindex_path (
path,str) – Path or URI of the tile index file.bbox (
tupleoffloats, optional) – (xmin, ymin, xmax, ymax) bounding box in EPGS:4326, by default None.geom (
geopandas.GeoDataFrame/Series, optional) – A geometry defining the area of interest, by default None. The geom.crs defaults to EPSG:4326 if not set.tileindex (
str) – Field name to hold the file path/location to the indexed rastersmosaic_kwargs (
dict, optional) – Mosaic key_word arguments to unify raster crs and/or resolution. Seemerge()for options.filesystem (
AbstractFileSystem | None, optional) – fsspec filesystem to read the tile index and the tiles from. None (default) means the local filesystem.**kwargs – key-word arguments are passed to
hydromt.readers.open_mfraster()
- Returns:
data – A single-variable Dataset of merged raster tiles.
- Return type:
xr.Dataset
