SfincsQuadtreeGrid.write(filename: str | Path = 'sfincs.nc', write_components: bool = False)

Writes a quadtree SFINCS netcdf file.

Layers claimed by a component through its grid_variables attribute are kept out of this file unless write_components is True; the component writes them to its own UGRID netcdf instead.

Parameters:

• filename (str or Path, optional) – Path to the netcdf file to write, by default “sfincs.nc”.

• write_components (bool, optional) – Also write the layers owned by other components, by calling their write(), by default False.
